These seem like no-brainers to fix. We shouldn't have lies on official documents.
I can appreciate that for trans people providing ID and not wanting their true sex to be outed, having accurate documents is a hassle. Perhaps there are ways around this, such as changing the law so that drivers licences must be recognised by anyone asking as being equivalent to passports as proof of identity.
You are correct that if the government adopts an accurate definition of sex, that brings the sex self-ID Act into question. RGE obliquely referred to that in our final recommendation because we think it’s on the government to work out a solution to the problem they created! We agree that birth certificates should stand as unalterable foundational documents.
It is vital that the bill a) includes a biological definition of sex and b) clarifies the distinction between the objective category of “sex” and the subjective category of “gender identity”.
Follow up the question of what a trans woman is by: can a woman be a trans woman and watch them explode. They hate women so much, that the mere idea a woman could be equated to a trans woman immediately brings out that hatred. If you want a really impressive explosion ask them if a woman could represent trans women in any capacity.
Hmm, sounds to me as if Mr Veale is engaging in what psychologists call "projection" which is an unconscious defense mechanism where a person attributes their own unacceptable thoughts, feelings, or motives to someone else. Instead of confronting difficult internal emotions—like guilt, jealousy, or insecurity—a person deflects them outward, believing that others are the ones actually feeling or behaving that way.

And you left one cri de coeur out; that trans folx are just being their "authentic" selves. Which of course is complete nonsense because you cannot purchase authenticity from a medical clinic. Cosmetic surgeries and lifelong drug use is about as far away from your real self as you can get and forcing people to agree with your continual performance art life hurts everyone.
